My name is Claire Goodman and I am an ordained Interfaith Minister living with my family in beautiful Charlottesville, Virginia. Every year I work with dozens of couples to create beautiful personalized wedding ceremonies and then perform them at venues throughout the area. In this capacity I am blessed to get to know so many wonderful couples who are in the midst of planning their weddings: some large and some small. One thing they all have in common is that they need to find the right products and services, within their budget, to create the wedding they envision for themselves. Over the years I’ve been asked for referrals for just about every imaginable thing and am always happy to help. Having gotten to know many of the local vendors myself helps a lot. Then one day I thought… why not create a complete listing of absolutely everything in the area that couples might be looking and make it available to them… well, here it is… I had no idea when I began that it would be more than 30 pages long!
The internet is, of course, a wonderful resource and I certainly market my own Wedding Officiant business online with great success. The one drawback I see for couples is that they spend hours and hours going from one wedding website to another but none of these sites is truly a comprehensive resource simply because only vendors who’ve paid to list themselves are there. This Directory is different because I have listed absolutely every resource that I could find using dozens of sources. Nothing is left out (unless I didn’t know about it).
